On the biggest game so far in the season, what most people expected to be an all out war turned out to be a blow out. There's no more question indeed about Boston's Big 3, they're definitely on it. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen all have scored at least 22 points apiece and sat out for most of the fourth quarter. Pierce led the Celtics with 26 points, Garnett with 23, and Allen with 22. Allen Iverson finished with team high 22 points for the Nuggets.

**Denver's center Marcus Camby was limited to only 8 rebounds after grabbing a total of 70 in the Nuggets' first four games. Camby averaged 17.5 rebounds prior to the game against the Celtics

**Boston holds a franchise record of most points scored in a half at 85 and did it twice. Interestingly, both games are against the Denver Nuggets. The Celtics scored 77 first half points in this game and limited the Nuggets to only 38, ironically, the total points scored by the Celtics in the first quarter.

**Fazed, Allen Iverson yelled at referee Scott Wall, "We're down 25, isn't it enough?!!", after Wall called a technical foul on Eduardo Najera. Denver trailed 50-25 at that time.

**The Celtics shot 49/76 (64.9%) from the field, yet, still too far from the current NBA record for the best FG shooting in a game held by the San Antonio Spurs who shot 70.7% against the Dallas Mavericks in April 16, 1983.
