    one of my officemates na block iyang ATM last Friday. padung na unta sya mo withdraw. inquire sya online, 'Contact Your Bank' na ang nakabutang. then when she checked sa ATM machine na jud, block na jud sya. niadto dayon sya sa bank para mag over the counter but it will take 2-3 weeks daw, under investigation and 'bank policy' pud daw.

    her last ATM withdrawal sa SM. Chinabank among payroll.

    Chinabank informed our accounting that they blocked those ATMs na suspected na skim. but they don't have the list kinsa

    I hope naay taga bank maka air out their sides ani kay luoy kaayo tong apektado nga mga accounts. imagine 2-3 weeks makuha ang money

    dili sad tingali abtan ug 2-3 weeks mam, grabe napud na kadugay. Sa UnionBank, kay gi.advise ang mga ATM Account Holders to check their accounts sa bank, then ipa.change ug lain nga card. Makuha na balik after 5 banking days or, mokuha ug immediate card 1 day activation lang.

    pwerte bitaw nila lalis sa taga bank boss why maabtan pag 2-3 weeks. tubag nila kay mao daw ila procedure. basin this Monday ma sort out na nila. nibalik na lang tawn akong officemate sa opis walay money nadala.

    OMG. That sounds like my situation na. Can't they just replace a new card na lang? It's what BDO is doing daw if they suspect na na-compromise and card, mau report sa SunStar. It's very inconvenient for the card holders to wait for 2-3 weeks pa. If pwede gani, withdraw tanan money and switch na lang ko to a passbook account. Bahala nag inconvenient mag withdraw basta safe lang ang gi haguan na money. =(

    @ChaosOrb: CORRECT. It's basically like getting a new ATM ra. Hala ka, mangandam sa diay ta ini para makig lalis ugma. Nangatol na jud aku till ug adto sa banko. Grrrr..... Wa pa jud hotline ang Chinabank for cases like these. Manila na ang number na aku nakit-an and it's not even available 24/7.

    I don't really know the exact procedure but I think the bank was doing auto-block on accounts found out to be compromised, maybe those accounts that made withdrawals within the day they suspect a fraudulent activity happened. Kung baga preventive measure ba. So if they found out nga okay ra imong account dali ra siguro ang replacement sa card or mag over the counter dili na maabtan ug 2-3 weeks or maybe mag wait pa sila naay mo report una pa sila mo conduct ug investigation. These are just my speculations though
