All of us have pre conceived ideas ma Pro or Anti. The best way to settle this is Ipatan-aw ang Pic sa bata nga wala pa kaayuy buot. Like kana bata mao pay pag kat-on ug tabi. Ask them if they Like it or Not and then we will know.

What do you think would be the reactions of children if they are to be shown with slides from pictures taken from animations that contains HIDEEN MESSAGES ? Of course they would not have a clue right ? But both children and adults love cartoons . True or not .... these are our RESERVATIONS.

You cant compare a MOVIE and a PC GAME from an ART that was SCULPTED more than 40 years ago. If a comparison has to arrive , then it is a conclusion na PRE CONCIEVED because we chose to relate it dictated by our personal biases.

I bet .... if it was not about the title describing it as SATAN nor the presence of the POPE and the CARDINALS .... you have not even have the slightest clue what the SCULPTURE was all about. The only thing creepy about it is the title .

That's not my point Spring. I wasn't comparing anything.

The point I was carrying out is: I cannot blame people who has no knowledge about Gothic and Pre-Renaissance architecture and who are severely blunted by video game and horror movie images. That's how they see things. You cannot push them to see Roman Catholicism on that sculpture, even when their mindset is autopopulated with a different one.

It's like teaching a four year old that Teddy Bears are evil demons in brown fur, and that child's belief about Teddy Bears is changed forever.

I was only pointing out also that looking at the picture alone without the presence of the cardinals and B16 , and not even reading the thread title , the person viewing it has no clue at all . May it be an artist pov's , innocent childs pov's or just simply , some average man's perception .

I am still convinced that what makes it creepy is because it is associated it with SATAN because it is the thread title .

A child that has only learned how to talk is hard to elevate the status because even at 8 months young , thay already communicate with baby words and up to 3 years of age where it can actually conversates with you. In between that , you have the characteristics of DENIAL , TRUST and GUILT . Therefore , using a child up to the toddler stage to justify things does not deliver the answer you are rooting for.

You should use someone who is AUTONOMOUS then whatever outcome or judgement they have , explain to them what really is the sculpture all about which in the case, its not you SIODENZ , BREAKEVEN , MACHINECULT or anyone who DISCREDITS unless you are in the same page of the creator of the sculpture and not your personal takes and biases .

Also .... if you ask an " ATHEIST " for their personal takes , they are NOT at all ATHEIST . A real atheist could care less about it . Anything that is associated with GOD or any form of HIGHER BEING , much more to a CREEPY DEVIL named Satan lol .

Most Anti-RC's project the sculpture as being based from this old occult image, I can't find any huge similarity though. Although I would admit it's scary to look at.
