dili na oi labi na kung ang magsugo ang kainit sa taw..wala jud na sa sugo sa bibliya nga pangasaw-a / pamana sa pareha ninyo religion
for me yes, it will prosper
religion for me really doesnt matter as long as u love the person.
i have neighbors here who are happily married despite their differences in religion
the guy is a jehova's witness and the girl was a sabadista (i guess)
his parents has different religions too.
his mother is a devoted jehova's witness while his late father was a catholic
as lovers (DATING pa lang) the relationship will prosper ... but when it comes to marriage, this thing is very complicated...
Either the guy or the gal should give up their religion, the guy or gal should baptize before they will get married. ..
But I noticed, mostly the Guys are converted to the Gal's religion...
Ang Importante lang:
Ang mga parents walay problema, the relationship will prosper man...
of course it totally depends on the couple involved.
but marriages has enough complications and adjustments between a couple with the same religion...
so it would be harder and would need more effort with couples coming from different backgrounds![]()
I am a Catholic while my husband is a Muslim. Almost 13 years na ming minyo. To me, differences in religious beliefs doesn't matter. When we got married nihangyo akong bana nakon pwede moconvert ko. Pero nibalibad ko but promised to read the Qur'an. ....long story short, I was never convinced so we compromised that we respect each other's faith and when we have kids, ...whoever makes time to teach the kids his/her religion then that would be the faith that the kids will embrace. Me, being more of the hands on Mom was able to teach the kids about the Catholic faith.
During religious holidays of both faith we try to celebrate it. EX...Ramadan, I don't cook during the day out of respect to his day of fasting. During Eid, I make sure that I order 2 whole goats to distribute to the poor. Christmas season, my husband is Santa, he puts up lights around our house. Then easter, he is the easter bunny.
It's really just a matter of compromising and respecting one's faith
That is a true expression of love and a solid foundation of marriage!Originally Posted by ah-het-po
