It is a fact that there's a long standing hacker definition controversy about the true meaning of the term hacker. But in the world of computer security, hacking and cracking are two distinct terms but are deeply abused and misused in the mainstream media. Thus, it is wrong to tag Onel as a hacker. His thesis reveal that he is a cracker and virus writer by creating an Email Password Sender Trojan that steals Internet access passwords from infected users.
