SH23, 1.29 unit here. got disappointed sa battery life nya, 1.26 and 1.28 were okay pa man to oi.

So, i rooted my HOX, read XDA threads and stumbled on this section.

They are clamoring na mo-spike lang kalit ang frequency on standby-mode,

Here are the two main tips that I have found out now to help a lot with battery and low CPU usage that is stable

1) Use Interactive Governor, it is less aggressive at ramping up to max frequency and much more efficient. Also more stable and not erratic like OnDemand Governor

2) USE APEX LAUNCHER or something besides Sense Launcher.

I took a screenshot, attested that it does fluctuate really high. (1.4ghz)



I'm currently doing battery test of my rooted HOX (stock rom), replaced sense launcher with APEX. set to interactive governor. brightness up to 25% level.

So far, in 40+ mins, nasa 90% pa ang battery. downloaded necessary apps, fb, twitter, instagram, google+, few games, browse2x... so far so good, I think. Now, I'm patiently waiting na-mo fully drain siya with screen that never sleeps.

no, just install APEX launcher, replace sense launcher as a default.
sorry for the confusion. not totally remove SENSE 4.0. (launcher rman... )

first test done.
on screen time almost reached 6 hours.

if mag restart sa phone, i-change napud ang settings? or no need na?

you still have to set max frequency, mine is 880mhz by clicking +/- buttons.

(if you frequently reboot your phone) you also need to go to boot settings (beside governor drop down box)
click "re-apply CPU settings", then choose "on boot completed"

my screen-off behavior is also set to interactive governor
max frequency/incall are both 880mhz for me.

okay man sa performance, walay lag so far sa mga non-heavy games apps nako.
