It is because majority of the Filipinos do not care or are too poor to care and do something. We do not even file cases for graft and corruption against an official or file a complaint for incompetence of a government unit or agency.

    Worst pa, Filipinos easily forget.

Which makes the "protest" message of the Oblation Run more worthless because it is not worth it. So nahimo na lang ni gyud ug nudists' exihibition tradition.

hadlok sa APO to file a complaint or what? or people just cannot see there's a violation?

and i don't think it needs a complaint from outsiders anyway. the police could just file the complaint by themselves and just implement the law.

or, can't APO just ban the practice by themselves as a symbol of respect for our laws?

Stopping oblation run does not merely involve all APO.As we all know oblation run is only practiced in UP and not to all schools with APO members.Oblation run in UP has significance with UPs history. The man spreading his arm has significance with the school history itself. And oblation run started with its own history during martial law time.(wikipedia).UP is known to be the only school who practiced all individual rights and freedom. Now if people wants to ban this oblation run,I think UP and not the APOs has the authority to stop the tradition.APO is different from all fraternities and thres nothing to be afraid of.Unlike other gangs who are pretending to be called fraternity..

i just can't understand why the "streaking" practice in UP can't be banned. it has somehow something to do w/ our double-standard of justice cguro...

kung ang BAYWALK BODIES were stopped immediately from their sexy pictorials sa dalan as a violation of our DECENCY LAWS and were arrested, why not this Oblation Run nga gahubo man gyud ni cla tanan (except their faces)?

we all know naman nga it is the "the right to freedom of expression" but we have laws to limit those freedoms.
