Sa akoa lang opinion, even if I am the thread starter, I would say that if you are an engineer and you have gained a strong foundation in your respective profession (mechanical, electrical, electronics, etc...), I suggest you concentrate on your field of specialty especially if you work abroad, citing examples would be in design, fabrication, manufacturing, construction or operation.

Sayang ang imong field of profession if taas na imong experience then mag safety engineer lang ka. Pero if batan-on pa, or wala pa kaayo naka gain ug other specialty and skills, then it would be better to venture in Safety Engineering.

I have adequate experience and training in safety, but it is just one of my foundation or back-up so that I could perform my work safely and more productively.

lahi ra boss.. safety officer kay mag implement ka sa mga safety practices. safety engineer kay mag design ka ug mga safety protocols. pero mao na ako sabot ha.. naa man sa safety technicians which is the lowest rank sa safety..
