Perhaps you could "familiarize" yourself first with Jeet Kune Do by reading instructional books to give you insights and information first before under-going training... (if you decide to enroll yourself in Manila...) Understand and absorb it's Philosophies and Ideologies... "Using No Way As Your Way, Having No Limitations As Your Limitation!"
If you have other Martial Arts training background, then it won't be so hard for you to evolve what you have learned since Jeet Kune Do is merely to simplify... "Disregard what is useless and Absorb what is useful!"

It's been awhile since niadto ko, do you have any idea nus-a ang date para sa world championship (arnis) and asa? I know na for this year, Philippines ang venue pero wa ko kahibalo asa sa Cebu. Nope, I'm not a member of Doce Pares Club sa 30 Eagle Street Santo Nino Village... But my close-friend Clifford Jao is... Yes, there used to be Korean student of Doce Pares who is also a 2nd dan black belt of Kendo... I'd happened to drop by the website of Paramount pictures. And abled to read the movie's synopsis. Basing from that, it is technically a FMA(Filipino Martial Arts). It deals with knives, if I wasn't mistaken it sounds like the "Kali System". Maybe the Film maker's guys just made some few revisions on it, for cinematic appeal. Well if it is indeed ours, I guess that's worth to be proud of. Wish to see that movie soon.

most martial arts can be very dangerous, karate. kung fu, jujutsu, judo, arnis and many more, but real danger is the person who is practicing the martial art is without discipline, narrow minded, selfish and too much ego.
