kanang 995 bro kay inclusive na na cya og VAT. makita nimo sa bill nga dili gyud 995 ang naka bill sa imu but mga 800+ lang. pag add nimo sa vat, 995 na total..

naa man promo ang globe run nga FREE ang 1st year sa phone line. so you get dsl + phone line for only 995. how about the existing subscribers? maka avail ba pud ta ani?

Yes, existing subscribers can also avail. Ako silingan kay nag-avail ana nga promo unya gi-extend ang iya lock-in period kay september pa man unta expire iya contract sa globe.

Ask lang ko if ok lang ba say you have two computers sa inyo balay then magpa taud ka ug globe dsl and would like to share the net connection sa duha ka pc's. Is this ok? Some guys said bawal daw. Considering shared net access to the other pc IS NOTfor business kay balay ra man. Any inputs?

usually the contractors who go to your house won't mind.....

when the contractor came to my house i had my desktop and latop on the same room.....

@minimouse: Same experience with dagget. I had 2 desktops in my bedroom alone when the contractors came. They didn't mind. The contractors only care about setting up your dsl connection...

I remember that they had a trouble setting up on my linux box so I let then setup on my win box...

Additional: Most of the time, 2 pcs are using the connection so you shouldn't worry about that minimouse :mrgreen: BTW, unsay gihatag nga dsl modem sa imo minimouse? Speedtouch? If it's SpeedTouch 511, dili naka kailangan og router since naa na may router functionality ang 511

Yep ako pud, 2 ako pc nya gatapad pag ari sa contractor. wala raman cya ga mind. gitaod ra niya ang modem/router then gi test then nilakaw..

bay, usually ang modem ihatag nila sa imo (kung residential) is the SPeedtouch 300 series USB (which is a donkey balls sucking machine.)
Aron mahatagan ka ug Modem/router na naay LAN port (RJ-45), all you have you do is set up Linux in ure pc. (which later on balik ta ug gamit to our favorite OS, the M$ Windows and its prodcucts!!!!.) Kay ang drivers sa USB modems is only for windows, no available for linux.
