But if in the higher division, doubt if Roach will let Manny fight. And if so, pang 8th weight division na. But it won't be a title fight coz Floyd doesn't have any belt anymore.......... The issue here is what weight division will they fight? Limbongan raba kaayo ni Floyd.......GGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
I think it would also be laughable if they fight at 145. The welterweight belt Manny is holding is supposed to be defended at its limit of 147. It will be weird having to defend a belt not at it's weight range.

I think it would be reasonable if Floyd asks to fight at 147 or higher.

Pac was a different fighter when he fought Marquez. How could you not see that? If there's one underrated feat he showed against Cotto, it's patience. The Manny who fought JMM a few years ago would have done things differently, nanggigil unta siya after na knockdown si Cotto. But no, he took his time. Something a lot of people have overlooked.

EDIT - Cotto is a pretty good counter puncher as well. But that still wasn't enough.

That's the point. But mura'g naay chance ma frustrate si Manny kay maayo kaayo ug rhythm si Mayweather. Like Maddox2 said, makalusot kaha siya's skill ni Mayweather sa likay2x (OT maayo sad mulikay ug kontra nga mura'g kaduha-duhaan siya makadaog). But I'm sure Roach will train Pacman para ana.

Well in the meantime let us pray he gives himself one more fight before retiring or that he loses in the 2010 congressional elections. Saonz man ni si Pambansang Kamao oi...

Yeah, you got a point. It's amazing how much Manny has changed since Marquez I.

    Default Pacquiao Vs. Foreman...

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Top Rank Godfather Bob Arum sends his message clear to the media not to interfere in the negotiations for Mayweather versus Pacquiao saying: "The media must not interfere in the negotiations. I just want to make this clear. If Floyd, Jr. does not come to our terms, then we have a much better alternative for Pacquiao's next fight."

Arum did not disclose such specific alternative nor did he reveal specific percentages of intended package-sharing to each fighter for the negotiation to start on, to this writer.

On the other hand, Pacquiao stands firm on his choice of letting Arum choose his next opponent.

"I can fight anybody. But, it's up to my promoter, Bob Arum, to choose my next opponent," says Pacquiao during the post fight press conference last Saturday.

Meanwhile, a rising star from the camp of King David of Ancient Israel named Yuri Foreman, who remains undefeated of his 28 professional fights and who recently snatched the WBA Super Welterweight Championship belt from Daniel Santos (32 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw) of Puerto Rico by 12-round unanimous decision, seems to be a better prospect at 154 pounds for a March 13, 2009 temporarily scheduled fight date for Pacquiao than Mayweather who has no title to offer, as of this writing.

Foreman vs. Pacquiao will give the Filipino Superstar a chance to win his 8th title in eight different divisions.

Very interseting.... Foreman fought in the undercard of Firepower. Think many of us saw him fight. Can Manny do it at 154 lbs. 8th Title in eight different division.... Whoaaaa......

I do remember Pacquiao saying he won't be shooting for another title, but we'll see. But I do hope it's Mayweather para makita ang katag ana iyang pretty mouth.

Mosley vs Manny would be a fun fight to watch.

I'd agree with you that pacquiao would lose on points if the fight goes the distance. But if Floyd gets tagged by pacquiao's power puches (either left or right) Floyd would be kissing the canvas. And i dont think floyd would be able to knock pacquiao out cause hes got no power punch and seeing how pacquiao handled the punches of a much hard hitting boxer in cotto, pacquiao wouldnt go down with floyds throws.

And in the fight between pacquiao and cotto, pacquiaos plan was not to corner cotto but to fight it out in the center of the ring. It just so happens that cotto on the later rounds was just backpedaling to avoid getting hit by pacquiao's punches to which it frustated pacquiao and altered his game plan a bit. And if you make that as your basis and say that it is a disadvantage for pacquiao against floyd, you're not quite right. Pacquiao wasnt prepared to chase cotto out because it was uncharacteristic for cotto to run away and nobody anticipated it to happen including pacquiao. But when pacquiao and mayweather do meet, i think that a strategy would be created to somehow offset mayweather's scaredy tactics. I believe that Floyds speed would be negated by Pacs speed but would Pacs power be negated by Floyd's power... i dont thinks so. So if pacquiao could take away that advantage away from floyd, which pacquio and his master roach is much capable of, all that's left for floyd is his counter punches, punches that could not even break an egg. Then it will all boils down to who would be hurting who the most... and i think we all know the answer to that.

Id like to end my nonsense by borrowing a quote from the great Mike Tyson... " Everyone's got a gameplan until they get hit". Cotto was clear example of this and Mayweather you're next!!!

    chaman!!!
