For me the sooner the better. The more you expose your puppy in the obstacle the more confident they will be when they r ready to compete. But we dont let your puppy go thru the standard heights before they reach their age of maturity.Ironwood_Cebu

Not all. Some will depend on the health of the dog. (ex. if your dog has hip dysplasia then it would not be advisable to be on agility.Ironwood_Cebu

K9 CARE is not a dog school. Its a club composed of dog enthusiast that wants to train their own dog for dog agility or any dog sport. Being a member of the club we share ideas on how to train our dogs. We usually train together. But if you want a private lesson we can suggest or reffer you to trainners that can teach you in dog agility or dog sport.Ironwood_Cebu

For me there are no bad effects for conformation dogs. I have a friend who has a beagle who did good both in agility and show. Currently her dog is 2nd in the ranking of beagle in the country and his dog won in Standard Agility Small Breed in Panaad 2008.Ironwood_Cebu
