90s jud syempre kay grabe ang ang struggle sa alternative rock, rock, grunge, and the likes ato na time...
just when almost everything you would see/hear in the music charts were hiphop, rnb and pop, Nirvana came up with something like "SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT" in 1992, this event was then considered as "the point where alternative rock entered the mainstream"....and then, others followed...
