LOL. Would you care stop me if that's what I want and you don't want others to stop homos from pushing same *** marriage? See, you didn't even get the point. What you people are pushing are inclined to your own desires and wants and not for the good of the majority.

As I said, don't complicate yourself, go to countries where same *** marriages are allowed and open and where "I now pronounce you husband and husband" and "wife and wife" are not absurd and are not considered taboos.

    easy with the words LMAO.

there's a country that offer homo marriages.go to Canada, I heard they're planning on expanding the range of their services throughout the country.

Before we want this happening here, tanawa sa ninyo unsay maapektohan in a broader perspective and not just coz its about you and "love". Observe sa ninyo unsay nahitabo sa lain nasod ni apply ani and try to imagine it happening sa atong environment diri sa pinas. Right now some people of the countries that legalized gay marriages are starting to question sad daw sibling marriages. funny thing is daghan ni angal. LOL. when asked why. most of them answered "its wrong" LOL.

Catholics and our society are not against it for no reason.

This might start a chain reaction. People will fight for their own "rights" as long as they feel it's for their own good.

Here are some things that people can also fight for:

1.) Legalize prostitution for the reason that it will create more jobs (like b and h... jobs.)
2.) Lower the age of marriage because teens feel like marrying because they "love" each other
3.) Bestiality in the not too distant in the future

Not because a few feel that it's right makes it right for the majority. Everything must have it's own limits. Same *** relationships is enough, marriage is going to far and beyond the limit.

for the Good of the majority? u fail to recognize our contribution to the society, its now time for society to recognize our rights. would it hurt u if it wuld be legalize? wuld it hurt our economy?

War. Rape. Murder. Poverty. Equal rights for gays. Guess which one the Southern Baptist Convention is protesting? - The Value of Families

going to other countries is not the solution. if other countries can do it, y cant we? jus because it sounds "absurd"? becuase the Church is blocking it? again .... the church is not the law. the Bible is not our constitution.

What makes you so sure that it stops there? And who are you to tell them that they're going too far? You can't stop them, even if you tried.

    @etienne and MartinShortz:

Please be reminded that we live in a Catholic country. We all have to live with it, Catholicism is not open to the idea of same *** marriages. That's why we all should know our and everything's limits, laws are not bent just for the convenience of the very few.

There's the simple answer that we tend to complicate. Now if going to other countries is not among your options, then try to transfer to another religion.

No we dont live on a Catholic country, otherwise there would be no Islams in Mindanao, or other religion anywhere else! Get your facts straight. Who knows, you might be talking to an atheist.

Correct, laws are not meant to be bent, but some laws are not written yet. Don't you think that Same *** marriage can be amended soon even in the Philippines?

Personally, I don't really care much of same *** marriage. If a catholic gay person wants to marry another gay person, let him/her as long as it's written down in the rule book.

same *** marriage is not prostitution.
teenage love, wether ur gay or not is questionable because persons involved are still not in the right age of maturity.
i think its stupid for somebody to find a relation between homosexuality and bestiality.

civil rights is not about wether ur a minority or majority. equal rights should be given to everybody regardless of who they are. being gay shuld not be the reason y i have lesser rights compared to straight people.

yes, we live in a predominantly country. but again and again and again, our nation should not be run on the basis of religion. its wrong to assume that every filipino shares the same faith. we jus cant hav religious laws, we are not in saudi arabia.

Civil rights is NOT a mere CONVENIENCE...of the few.
no matter how few we are, we all deserve equality.

wats the point of transfering to a different religion if the state doesnt recognize our union? same *** marriage is not after walking down the aisle inside a church with lavish floral decor. we want those rights/benefits heterosexual couples get.

separation between the church and the state is a basic knowledge in political science, dont u know that...

Everyone has the right to protest, ang sa mapul-an lang. Even if we take out religion in this issue. The fact remains that sodomy would still come out unethical. Marriage should be the union of the vagina and the *****, not ass and *****. Forgive me about the terms if its a bit vulgar, but I had to use them to deliver a strong message.
And speaking about rights? Marriage is not about rights and benefits in the first place. The central idea is about love and pro-creation. Those two concepts(or whatever you call it) are not rights and benefits that a state can grant. Marriage not centered around love and pro-creation is really cheap, as for my own opinion. Ex. a woman marrying a rich guy for money is not so ethical, but it brings a lot of benefit to the woman, assuming that her plan would work out.
So, which marriage do you support? Marriage centered on love and pro-creation or marriage centered on personal benefits?
