born and raised in Iligan City, 1 1/2 hrs from CDO, but dli man me nahan sa CDO, wa man au didto..mag ad2 lang me sa CDO kong naa importante tuyo...

I highly recommend DAVAO...maski sauna pa...it's METRO MANILA, METRO CEBU and METRO DAVAO.

REASONS WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE DAVAO:

This maybe true in the past, i.e. Manila, Cebu, Davao in that order. But not anymore.
It's not what is already there. It's the "rate" that a city is doing. And CDO (and CIC) is doing it at a very high rate per capita.

Consider how is this gonna affect the entire region. And CDO (and CIC) is at the forefront of that.

Fruits? MisOr and NorMin has fruits
Water? Cagayan river will tell you that.
Modern Airport? check the link above.
Real Estates? haha, CDO got many, i.e. Xavier Estate, Koresco, Ayala, etc.
Best Unitversities? we got XU. MPSC board exam passing rate is one of the highest in Pinas.
Christian? that's racist really. I'm Agonistic. What is wrong w/ Muslim (except fundamentalist)?
Bank? like we don't have banks in CDO? hahahaha
Taxi? you must be joking really. Even Cebu cab drivers envy the CDO cabs.
Malls? If I'm not mistaken LimKetKai Mall is the first in Mindanao.

As I said, it's not how much your city got now. It's the rate that the city is going. And CDO is way up ahead and it's starting to use it's afterburner.

I want to quote a big time Japanese Enterprenuer (can't recall his name). This is more or less what he said;

"In Japan our houses are small but we built big factories. But it the Philippines your houses are big and your factories are small."

HOW TRUE IS THAT?

CDO is probably taking the advice of that smart Japanese guy. We are building/built one of the biggest Seaport in the country. We got Phividec where Hanjin is located. And LADP is coming soon to boost CIC.

To me, still I can't figure out why we build so many Malls/condos where in fact, we the people of Mindanao don't have money to spend. It's just way over my head, really. Only expats and cashed-up tourist have extra money. Oh I forget, the kurakot politicians and scumbags have money too.

CDO and CIC is doing the right thing, i.e. build BIG factories to make money. not spend money.
