the advantage of having 6fps camera hehehe... i wish i had a tripod when i was shooting the fire works
sa ayala. well, good thing i had IS sa ako lens. wala pagyud ka pwesto ug tarong, was shooting this sa mariot dapit.
this is my first time to shoot fireworks, so if your going to give comments... be easy on me hehehe

all shots taken at 1/13s, f6.3, 20mm (canon17-85mmIS), iso3200, 20d manual exposure.
i also wish i know how to edit this in CS2 to make it look better... these are out of the camera jpeg resize in ACDC
for the web.
maybe if i shot this wiht a slower shutter speed it would have been a little better, but as i've said these were handheld
with a canon IS lens

edwin- nice shots anyway, even if handheld...

i read somewhere that it should be tripod, f/22 and bulb; use the lens cover to block the lens before/after the burst that you want to capture. also, you don't need to bump it up to iso3200 since you're going to be on bulb and all you're after is the light burst...

these were all shot at ISO200..+0.7 exposure..Canon A410 point&shot..hand-held..@the Ayala Parking area

yah, i think its because of the street lamp right in front of me... i could just imagine if i was using a slower shutter speed, siguro mosamot ka yellow ang ako kuha . the other shots that i took nga naka zoom towards the fireworks have better color ang problema lang kay kurog ang kamot hehehe

ang nakapait lang ani kay wala gyud bisag gamay nga foreground to make it look better, mura na hinoon dili fireworks hehehe
kay naka zoom man all the way
