the team with the better defense wins this series.
both teams showed that they can defend well in the semis by defeating playoff veteran teams.

both of them can defend well. it all boils down to who executes their offense well... i believe the lakers can... better than the celtics... because of the triangle... hehehe!

For me, Getting to the FINALS is really a BIG STEP sa lakers team. I'm a fan ever since. if they lost sa boston/detriot, its okay for me cos they beat all the BEAST Teams in the west and they making a statement right now that all the NBA ANALYST EXPERT are all wrong.

i've heard about the 8th spot, but as the season goes when gasol trade materialized the lakers its not the 8th spot in every NBA fans came out of their mouth. definitely the title prediction and conference title the least.
of course it's good to see a holywood team in the finals. they deserve it in terms of expectation. (in real non-crap analysis which is contrary to whoever expert you claimed to analysed how the lakers will going this year).
then again, being as old as spurs among any other team isn't an excuse. its the fact. and it got them right in time. like it's been predicted to overwhelm them right from the very start.

Hmmm one good point for the Celtics going to the Finals is the confidence of winning two road games againts the Pistons in the ECF...
Plus, you can add the fact that Ray Allen is starting to heat up and got his confidence back after a mediocre performance in rounds 1 and 2...
A crucial strategy for the Celtics is to shut the Lakers bench out of the game... Kobe can explode for 50 as long as the rest of the Lakers are silent...
The way I see it, it was Vujacic who was the hero againts the Spurs... Shutting down Manu is no easy task...
For the Lakers, Odom needs to step up big time...
I'm sure the Celts big 3 are going to go berserk especially being the fact that this is their first trip to the Finals the 3 of them. Kobe and Pau needs Odom's double-doubles badly... If he can score 20+ ppg in the finals, it could really help the Lakers on their campaign...
Hoping for the Celtics to win the series...
