wala pa bro, dugay nako wala ka balik og rusi na shop kai usually adto man ko sa guadalupe mo palit og mga small parts (LED lights etc...) pero ako nya suwayun if naa ko free time. ganahan lang ko mo gather sa og info before ko mangita. salamat sa reply bro!

had owned a Rusi ZX110 since Sep '17... performed a Hard Break-in on it... the purpose of the purchase is for me to have a go-to-go commuter for my errands... and its really very cheap... just shelled out 39K php for the bnew unit. oh, i'm beginning to love this little machine and had started using it on my TCH rides...

decided to buy the ZX110 over the Honda Wave 110 Alpha because of its cheaper price, my personal observation on the workmanship on the bike and on its physical looks...




here's my experience in owning this little gem.

Positive side:
> its a fast and nibble little machine. we'll, it can run as fast as it can be in its own right. it can reach max speed of 90 kph. not bad for a 110 cc engine displacement.
> fuel consumption is acceptable. usually, on my style of riding w/c i always exposed the little engine on usual full throttle (puga2x mode). on open roads is 26 kms/ 1 liter. haven't tried it on a chillin' riding style yet... bottom line, my shallow pocket is really2x happy on the gasoline mileage. as the bike is still under 1,500 kms (still under break-in period), once i'm in an open road, i'll ride the bike hard in full throttle.
> seat height is high... its a boon for me... while it's a bane for some... hehehe.... even though, i'm a bonzai, i preferred high seat height as i'm used in riding dirt bikes.
> Physical looks is nice as your money can get. got dual disc brakes, single rear suspension (mono), alloy wheels w/ nice looking street tires (until you'll ride it hard on the twisties for a banking2x galore). rear tire is wider (110/70/17).
> Rear suspension's performance on the rebound is nice... it's feels like we're riding a mini dual sport (dirt bike) motorbike.
> Plastic quality feels ok. it's acceptable.


Negative side:
> Plastic rattling sound (but not annoying)... its the same as Honda Wave and the likes. we'll, this is just the nature of this UB design.
> Front tire is skinny. the tires combo looks funny (my personal comment after sometime owning the bike. i wish the front tire was wider)... the front tire is only 70/80/17... it not my cup of tea though... in actual riding, it feels that the front is not that stable during hard banking (but ok for a normal/ casual riding style). a wider front tire would be a nice improvement (this is my personal opinion though).
> Muffler's end cap (carbon-look) is of poor quality. mine already vanished like magic... hahahaha... it got broken during traveling and just flew from the bike w/out me knowing it.
> Front suspension is just so-so... normal performance... just like Honda Wave and the other similar class motorbikes.


i will not give a negative comment on the engine's vibration since this is normal for a "push rod" engine or Overhead Valve design (OHV). Rusi bikes (as of the writing) are based on push rod engines to keep their price as low as possible. though i got no info on the engine types of Rusi's higher priced model.

so, don't compare their engine vibration to the Big 4 or Rouser and other Bajaj made motorbikes... not to mention the other bike brands from EU as their engines are based on Overhead Camshaft design (OHC) thus, vibration is at minimum. comparing OHV & OHC in terms of engine vibration doesn't seem right. we're not giving justice to the engines as OHV does vibrate more compared to OHC engines. it's just the nature of the internal engine design and we nor the manufacturers can do about it...


i can compare it to Honda Wave 110 Alpha as my bro in-law got one...



an update on the ZX110...

I had changed the stock exhaust system... purchased and installed a full stainless steel exhaust system (XRM style w/ silencer) from the muffler fabricator in SRP. forgot the name of the shop though... old me... tsk tsk tsk...
