CURRENT applications does not have support for this CPU. So why buy this CPU nga wa pa man gni kaau ni support? Fanboys TAKE NOTE: Its not even tested with newer Server and Desktop OS', it is only being benchmarked by 3rd party applications, and yes results are very high. IMHO it is not the right time to buy this CPU even if you say you want to future proof your rig. But, its all up to you. I don't want to end up with all the BSOD hassles.

AMD's Ryzen Receives New Power Plan, Game Patch

Thoughts
AMD's promise of a rash of game updates to improve performance was met with skepticism, but the situation appears to be improving nicely. We hope to see more developers come forward in the coming months, and we likely will.

AMD's Ryzen is a nice silicon canvas, but as with any new architecture, it will take some time before the picture is complete. In the meantime, Ryzen 5 processors launch next week. We are busy testing. Stay tuned.

the sure thing, IF AMD 1700 < $313 > were only priced PhP 2k - 3klower than i7 7700k < $339 > |

it will be called an intel killer and a bang for bucks.

why should anyone pays or buys a high priced chip with luck luster performance?

the PhP2K price difference can actually buy you a good AIO cooler and take advantage of its unlocked processor ratio

nag ask ba ta diri why duol na ang performance gap nila? ang tubag... tada da dang... ning jump man sa design bandwagon ang AMD... ning adopt man sila sa full Simultaneous Multi-threading (SMT) na more or less the same principle sa Intel but w/ AMD's tweaks. gi basura nila ang ilahang patented Clustered Multi-threading (CMT) nila na proven na inferior design compared to the competition...

kaso, mahal man ang price sa Ryzen 7... or, ning dive lang gyud pud ang Intel (this is a fact man pud gud. nag slash ug price ang blue team)... naka tulon ug laway ang AMD ron... na unay sa kaugalingon nila'ng tari kay sila baya ang mag sige'g pa ubos sa prices once naa'y bag-o na ma release na product(s)... hehehe... then nag pa-ubos man ang intel sa price nila... caught off-guard ang AMD for the price wars kay dli sila maka bawi sa cost or make a profit kun baratohon nila'g maayo pud ang Ryzen 7...

then lower priced 6cores with HT
then more lower priced 4cores with HT < like the i7 7700K >


and the intel will move up the scales. the next i7 extremes are 16core variants with HT
