Hmmm.. It's like taking away a part of their culture. Public crucifixions including post photo ops had been part of their culture for years..

To be honest, i don't find it obscene. I would rather call it inappropriate at the most.. Wrong timing ba..

taking photos after is great but they should do it in a rightful, appropriate and respectful way...can't they take photo beside the cross?

I think its obscene since it is really offensive against Christians and their belief and yes, it could be called inappropriate too.

I agree with your point on respecting ones culture/tradition... but the people doing these actual crucifixions are devout Catholics. As such they believe they are honoring their faith by engaging in these traditions...

The Catholic Church should guide these people on how to best practice their faith in accordance with their teachings...

bro agree jud kaau ko nimo as in super agree jud.. my goodness, ang topic is about ra jud sa photo, syempre para nato katoliko maka lagot jud, DISRESPECT jud xa and OBSCENE sad jud xa.. grabe ang uban tao naabot na man ug katoliko, athiest. if wala ni nka affect sa mga athiest ngano kaha mo comment pa jud sila about sa ilang mga panindigan (although this is a forum). hahaha mgkatawa lang ko, mgpromote pa jud sa ilang society.

That was not a promotion. Your initial reaction to my original post was a lame attempt to let the public think I'm just a crackpot. My response to your post was simply an indicator that there are similar-minded people like me, who, unlike you, are unshackled from the usual chains of your beliefs (i.e. you behave like you do because of your upbringing, your relatives, or what your job requires you to do) and is a prime example of an individual that cannot think for himself, kay if you do, daghang butang mawala sa imong nga kinahanglan nimo para ikaw mabuhi. There are people in this world who are not bound by such things, and that's why I shared my link, to let others know that such people exist and there is no reason to hate nor fear them.
