BKK is good for one time visit only. Personally, BKK is nothing compared to HK and SG. Had a bad experience in BKK in Platinum Mall in Pratunam, two of my companions in our group became victims of pickpockets. Their bags were slashed and their wallets inside were taken at around 12NN and immediately thereafter when we called Metrobank in Manila to block the credit cards and atm, we learned that at around 1PM the credit card was already used to withdraw a cash advance amounting to 25K Baht and the two other supplementary cards were also swiped to pay for some purchases in the same mall, don't know how they did it. Mga pinoy ug nigerian ra man sad daw ang nag operate ug syndicate didto. tsk tsk

If you plan to got to places like pratunam, chatuchak/jj mall or bobae or even MBK, be very carefull lang jud especially on fridays, saturdays and sundays kay according to the security head in platinum mall every 15 mins daw naay mo report nila nga nakawatan, in fact, when we reported what happened to us, naa mi kadungan nga duha ka thai nga nakawatan sad.

Better alternatives to pratunam would be central world, amarin, big c, isetan, siam paragon and the likes. Medyo upscale pero safe. Besides, naa man pud mga factory outlet dinhi, kanang mga export overruns for brands like levis, dockers, gap, billabong, quicksilver, etc. Ok man pud mag sale ang mga tindahan dinhi ug mas daghan food choices unlike platinum nga KFC ra ang pwede if pul-an na ka sa thai food.

Nice hotel would be BHIMAN INN in phra sumen road which is just near the famous khao san road, nindot ayo service ug friendly and tag-iya. makig picture2x pa ninyo. limpyo sab kaau.

So to anybody planning a trip to BKK, be extra careful lang jud and i'm sure you'll have a good time sa kadaghan pwede mabuhat didto..
