im not a rush follower but i got their live album. that album which features working man, bastille day, what youre doing, fly by night. geddy lee is one of those prog rock icon. i agree man that sometimes styx sounds like air supply hehe. but im more rob halford. just finished listening to painkiller and stained class. tomorow i will play british steel. really like their riffs and voices. guitars are unison and it sounds magical to me. it was the time with nazareth, uriah heep when i got priest album. and because of their style of playing, i instantly became a fan of them. but if you will just read their lyrics, without singing, you will be confused. its like a poet or something. even that diamonds and rust. its a cover song originally by joan baez. no bands of today covers priest song. some of their music needs keyboard playing. but i think its just fine just like scorpions sometimes.
there is also a group that i take some time to listen. this one named journey. neal schon is amazing. just listen to their classic lights, separate ways. dont stop believing. never mind the high waiste and the lady on separate ways video.. get on with it. today their still kicking. but the originals are really the one digging and electrifyng..

Nindot bitaw ang old songs sa Styx like mr. roboto, the best of time, and dont let it end...i thought before mr. roboto was sang by queen, and the best of time was sang by air supply...hehehe

some are confused with styx and air supply not only because of voice but also the curled hair. their similar with song intros with keyboards. both bands music are also played inside public vehicles. when i was younger and started listening to them, i wasnt confused. maybe because they differ with guitar riffs and the sound. styx has lots of overdrive and solos. air supply has only slight strumming. thank god for my sense of hearing.

& i thought that i was the only 1 who confuses styx with air supply...hehe...what a relief!...

you sure got good taste bro!...i agree priest really does have timeless heavy rockin' tunes...we never see to get tired of listening to them...british steel is classic priest...with their magic, only priest can make such a simple melody like 'breaking the law' into the metal churner that it is...gay or not, halford definitely has heavy rockin' vocal chords...even with his other band 'fight', he just can't seem to run out of squealer power...

journey is 1 hell of a band bro!...these guys got good chemistry, the byproducts of which are melodic rock tunes & power balads supreme...steve perry is an exceptional singer...girl can't help it - great tune...

i wonder if you bros dig boston too...do you?...coz i surely do...tom scholz is 1 gifted guitarist & composer...

you dont have to be old to be wise..dont ever forget this awesome riff. grinder and living after midnight too. journey oh man .. they say that the road aint a place to start a family... got frontier ..too bad for me i got only one boston, honestly dont really adopted from them. i admit that any band that dont have heavy guitar riff is pop to me. and pop is like for parties or discos... but i had listened to that more than a feeling way back before together with the group heart. our province had this band for occassion events purposes. by the way let me have out of topic, there are lots of bands name after a country. boston is one of them

which album of boston have you got bro?...pardon me, but i bid to disagree... boston is very much a classic rock band, & its songs are solidly founded on scholz crafty guitar playing (& keyboard playing too)...

check out 'rock & roll band', 'smokin', 'piece of mind', 'foreplay', 'party' - these sure are not pop tunes, definitely classic rock...in fact, more than a feeling - although an acoustic guitar driven tune, convolutes in & out of scholz's super sustained overdriven guitar rythm tracks...add brad delp's warm yet blasty vocals & you got the secret formula that made their debut album the best selling classic rock album of all time...

    tom scholz - my kinda guy...boston - my kinda band...in memoriam : brad delp (r.i.p. 2007, suicide)...

& by the way bro, boston is a city in the state of massachusetts in the US, & not a country...& there are only 2 bands named after a US city, the other 1 is chicago, which is also a city in the state of illinois...just wanted to straighten that out bro...hehe...

freewheel burning is my all-time-favorite priest metal scorcher...with victory all mine...
