about traveling your dog via plane all you need is to secure the BAI certificate and present it to the quarantine of the airline company and they will issue you the permit .. yes ob course before you have the BAI you must have the vaccination cert of your dog.. then after securing the quarantine you will just go to the check-in counter and they just measure your cage.. LWH and weight.. then you will pay the amount. its so easy!

would like to ask if there is indeed an approved carrier/cage for me to use to transport my pet( Sherlock) from Cebu to Manila. He doesn't really like to be in a cage so I did not bother buy one when he outgrown the old crate. could i use any type or it needs to be specific? would appreciate it if you could help. I am planning to travel on the 20th of Sept.

are you by plane or boat?? how old is your dog?? if plane they have the specific vari kennel.. the plastic one.. if boat. any cage will do but you must make it sure that your dog is secure and will not scape..

yes!! they usually see the anti rabies vaccination of the dog, but if the age of the is less than 3months old.. they just issue you the BAI cert. and you can get the quarantine permit.

anti rabies shots are only required for dogs over 3mos. old.
but if 11wks old na man na bro, pwd na man guro na nimu
pa-vaccinan ug anti-rabies... ask kuno sa vet, if pwede na ba.

yup as long as the pup is not over 3mos old, they will issue the permit even w/o the anti-rabies shot.

if the difference of the age is only days going 3 months, it can be vaccinated with anti-rabies. and ask the vet for the BAI cert for your dog so that you can secure the quarantine permit at the airport or seaport.
