Race Officials started the race early as 182 entries flocked to Kartzone to try out their skills in the Autocross Track. It was a close battle in the Superstock Novice Category, which had 24 entries, with only milliseconds separating the Top three. Top Honors went to Phillip Lim of team NCR with a time of 1:17.2. In second, Peter Singco with a time of 1:17.39 and John Velasco of Team H3 with a time of 1:17.6 In the beginner modified, Harold Ong of Team ACR got top honors with a 1:13 flat. It was a shootout for the fastest time of the event. In the end, it was Peterson Lim who took the fastest time around the track with a 1:09.53 followed by Randy the “4WD king” Paray with a best time of 1:10.64. Cebuano Ace driver David Lim took third honors with a time of 1:10.96.

Your MR2 will be classified as Superstock becoz of its 3SG Turbo Performance Engine. Add 1 more mod(modification) like performance suspension, and you will be classified as Modified. Two more mods to go up to open class. So if you put performance tires after the suspension change, you can still stay in modified. If you lighten your car which is another mod, that will bring you to open (3mods). Remember that you have the option to race with the big boys in the open class but you can't go down a class like stock. For now, superstock will still be classified under novice and expert drivers. A Novice driver is somebody who hasn't won a class while the expert drivers are those who won already. All of these rules are for discussion so I suggest you ask as many questions now so we can iron-out the rulebook soon. Your questions and suggestions will help as formulate a good and fair reference for future races to come.

No bai. There will be no significant change in engine power with a downpipe, scub or a side exit exhaust.
Only four mods are significant. (1)Performance Engine or engine swap to a performance engine. (2) Suspension (shocks, coil-overs, etc.) poly bushings and stifferners are not considered mod. (3) Performance tires which we will determine with a dorometer and (4) and lightening of car.

Everything else is legal! Like carbon fiber wing, noisy exhaust,etc.
