Clarifying the nickname change situation
Prokhorov’s camp confirmed this morning that they’ve sent a request to the league to change the team’s name.
What does this mean? Maybe nothing.
Changing a team’s nickname, uniform or city name is a long process requiring that the owner gives the NBA notice 25 months in advance. This is to allow time for the creative process and the time it requires to make and market new uniforms. There doesn’t have to be a plan with the proposal, just a desire. It’s basically like putting the NBA on notice for a potential identity change.
So if Prokhorov wanted to change the team’s name for the 2012-13 season (even the city name to Brooklyn), he would have had to submit his notice by Oct. 1. If he submits a proposal, it would have to be approved by the Board of Governors.

About ana ila possible line-up. I thought Williams is a SF, smaller sa position but I think diha siya mas comfortable. Naka tawa pud ko anang Farmar as PG. I like DJ Agustin maybe mas kailangan pa sa Nets mas maayo na PG. But maayo man ni siya, okay lang.Daghan pang room para mo improve.
Looking sa pwede maging line-up I don't think the team is strong enough to compete sa tougher teams sa East. Ang sure lang nako mo improve ila record from a humiliating 12 wins last season.

I'm for DJ AUGUSTIN as starter. I've seen this kid play live, very quick & good ball distributor na-bench nalang gud si Raymond Felton coz DJ was taking over the game.
Makita jud nimo nga smart PG sya as advertised, he has all the potentials.
On the other hand Jordan Farmar has TONS of valuable experience being with the Lakers.
So I won't be surprised ra pod if Coach Avery Johnson taps him as the starting PG.
