how do you distinguish sunset from sunrise in a picture?

Ok.......Sunrise has a lighter tone and Sunset is more moody. I'm not the expert but that's my guess

Wow... you'll make a good detective on circumstancial evidence. It's lighter coz everyone's just waking up, the birds fly to feed, men's activity abound... It moody 'coz most birds are full and resting, men are going home to their wives... but , but..... jeppoy's mood is surely lighter 'coz he's taken such a lovely picture of the sunset.
