How ironic!! I was just asking one of my friends where Camotes Island was. Nakabisita nako didto long time ago and loved it. I wanted to go back but would like to reconnect a long lost distance relative who used to be theMayor (1970s) in San Francisco. Anyone here can help me?

I haven't been home for 23 years. My husband wa pa nakakita ug Pilipinas and neither are are my children, so I'm trying to make some kind of plans of what and where to go when we visit.

M0mMyinCO@ base on the pics of camotes the island is WOW only in the philippines.
but you try also exploring cebu mactan islands (hilutungan.. mocaboc... pandanon.. co-amen.. etc.) are also great place to visit.

@unofficialplayer - I am very interested to visit this resort Buho Rock, Poro can you pls. give me details on the accomodation? hows snorkeling/diving in that resort?

1.) incase we overspend naa ba mga atm or banks (unsa ang available)?
2.) do this resort accept visa/master
3.) can you give me idea on boat rental for (diving/snorkeling)?

hi HybernaTe. sorry for the delay.

1.) no ATMs there. if you go, do equip yourself with cash. wa jud atm didto. it's a fifth class town. the only bank there is a rural bank (forgot the name).
2.) am not sure about credit cards. maybe the major resorts lang like Santiago (St. James) Beach, Mangudlong, and the Little Island Hotel. will confirm in a couple of days.
3.) transaction for boat rentals will be done in the resort na. it doesn't cost much man. just under P800, lesser if you have a friend from there who will do the haggling for you.
