Yao Ming outplayed Tim Duncan and Houston gets back on the winning column by handing the defending champions it's first loss of the season, 89-81. Yao finished with game high 28 points and 13 rebounds while Duncan had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Aside from Yao, Bonzi Wells and Mike James came up big off the bench to counter Manu Ginobili's 23 points off the Spurs bench. The Rockets managed to survive the Spurs despite getting a subpar game from Tracy McGrady who finished with 12 points in 4/14 FG shooting. T-Mac had 9 rebounds and 6 assists though.
**Bonzi Wells finished the game with 14 points and season high 15 rebounds (three short of his career high)
**Houston totally outrebounded San Antonio, 55-28. One short of doubling the Spurs' total rebounds.
**Tracy McGrady averaged 33 points prior to the Spurs-Rockets match. Bruce Bowen once again?
Chris Paul had 21 assists while Peja Stojakovic added 36 points as the Hornets blasted the Lakers. Wa pay pildi sila...

Peja really made up for a poor performance in their previous game. This is what a very healthy Hornets can do.
Peja's sling shot connects. Amazing. No wonder.
