^^yeah, there were parts on the film that i was bored as well..

saw "In Darkness" yesterday.. it was such a wonderful movie. touching especially the last part. hint "my jews!" hehe.

Yes, In Darkness is based on a true story. Pero sa movie gi-downplay sa director ang storya. Sa tinood ang na-save gid ni Socha kay close to 20 people daw. Pag una, ang gihimo sa filmmakers kay dapat 12 people ra daw ang masud sa location para man to ma-relate sa disciples ni Jesus. Then pag end close to 10 nlang ang nahabilin. Then daghan scenes nga sobra ka emphasize ang religious aspect bahalag gi-distort nila ang tinood na storya. Ing-ani man gud usually movie ni Holland, pareha sa Europa Europa. Sa In Dakness daghan pud mga underdeveloped characters, samot siguro kong close to 20 characters ilang gi work with. haha.

Ang akong giganahan sa In Darkness kay makita nimo ang challenge pag film ilawm sa drainage. Then even if sa studio gi-shoot, nindot pagka himo kay realistic ang location so maka appreciate ka sa effort nila kay lisod man to i-film.

I saw this. It's Indonesian but the director is actually British who now lives in Indonesia. He also did Merantau. The Raid: Redemption kay 1 part of a trilogy. So I think due to the success of this first film, the filmmakers have now enough budget to work on the other movies of the planned trilogy.

Yep, daghan nindot fight scenes pero di kaayo nindot ang story. Pare-preha nig story sa District B13 (2004) (Banlieue 13 in French, directed by Pierre Morel who would later on direct Taken). Mas nindotan kos District B13 kay mas tight ug engaging ang flow sa story. OK pud kaayo ang fight scenes kay based around parkour.

Naa parts filmed in a studio in Poland, pero there are also location shoots sa Poland ug Germany.

Incendies is a really good movie, Enjoy!

i was absent for 5 days to due sore eyes.. hehe.. so i was able to watch some movies.

1. twilight samurai (Tasogare Seibei) - loved this film
2. inside (À l'intérieur) - maglagot ko ani na movie.. hehe.
3. 13 assassins - good story, bonus nalang ang action
4. Black Book (Zwartboek) - nice story set in WW2
5. La Vie en Rose - biographical film about Edith Piaf

Nice mix there. Loved Inside and Black Book, 13 Assassins was pretty good too

there were parts on the film (Inside) na maglagot ko.. hehe.. pero nice sya. luod, but nice..
fave part: the villain was outside the house, the camera at her back, while sarah is trying to take her pic from inside the house.

^ if you like really hardcore shocking horror such as Inside I can recommend Martyrs, it will certainly leave you numb for a few days. Haute Tension is also pretty good.
