2nd hand = na gamit na wala ta kahibaw kung pila na ka years/hours na gamit
tanan mechanical and electronic devices.. naa deterioration basta gamiton
mura gud mga cars (same model).. mas less ang maintenance (fuel and parts) sa brand new compared sa 2nd hand

maayo pag frigates ang e purchase sa pinas.. kanang at least 15 ka frigates equipped with modernized radar, bofor guns and aircraft pad.. mas practical pa na gamiton kung magbantay lang sa ato mga isla just like spratly islands..

can frigates move from luzon to mindanao in less than an hour ? be reasonable

let's say for example makadawat na ta anang F-16 do u think we can easily repair those parts sa F-16 in the near future kung magkaguba na? do we have enough money to buy the spare parts of it? naglisod man gane ato airforce na e maintain ang mga C130 hercules transport planes nato kana pa hinoon magdawat sila sa F-16 na e donate sa US..

please don't forget na ang budget sa AFP is not enough to buy even the cost of maintenance sa aircraft arun magdugay sa service..

mas maayo gane unta na brand new jets ang paliton kay less lang imo mahimo cost of maintenance ana kay wala man kaayo ka ayuhon unless kung naay murag nga recalls sa specifications.. but most likely buying a brand new jets will give not only better performance but longer serviceability as well..

bossing let met break it down for you about "2nd hand" F-16's, F-16's is built by blocks, pinas is not getting that was built in the 70's,i think you are assuming that the "vipers" pinas is getting are the really old ones, i'm hoping pinas will get the block 30's on up,,

unlike cars millage nga di kasaligan especially surplus converts. plane flight hours are religiously recorded. diri man mag base ilang scheduled overhauls og uban pang maintenance.

sorry bossing,,,F-16 is the best & cheapest fighter/bomber any nation can have,,,maintenance or manhours to get this jet combat ready, is nothing compare to others. pinas should grab this chance, it's free,,but it's not gonna happen overnight,,maybe in two years. i base usa sa siquijor,,akoy bahala sa maintenance,,hehehe,,for free,,,

Daghan daghan jud nuon kaau suplus c Uncle Sam aning F16. Hopefully we could get this for free plus annual military aid for maintenance similar sa Egypt kai atong military budget dili ka support ani. hehe

it would be sweet if F-16Cs or Ds block 30/32s ang ma acquire, though I doubt it. Sayang tong F-16s nga gi reject sa Philippines pag 98, kay "old stock" daw. Those were unused pajud unta. Gipalit nuon sa Pakistan.
