Mas bati and mas mahal ang PLDT. mas taas pod ilang lock-in, 3 years. For 3 years ky okayhan ra gyud ko sa globe. Dali ra ang support and field muatiman sa problem. Lately lang ko naglagot sa globe tungod sa ilang FUP nga 256kbps nalang ang speed kung ma overcapped naka.
Other than that, mas okay gihapon ang Globe kysa PLDT.
PS. Even ang data booster sa PLDT ky joke kaayo ang price ug ang data. In other words mahal pero ang data ky gamay kaau.
Totally agree about your sentiment with Globe. 24 to 48 hours or even less naa na response kung mutawag ka sa ilaha about a line problem especially kanang ma putol inyo linya. The only bummer is you need to call from a Globe telephone to contact Globe tech support. LOL
I actually have 2 DSL lines an old PLDT 999 plan and a the Globe DSL plan na tag 1650. I got the Globe plan about 2 years ago and the PLDT one was like from 2009 pa IIRC.
I've experienced na ma-putol ang linya from my house to their box sa poste this year. BOTH PLDT (a$$hole truck driver na walay paki alam na nakaputol siya sa amo wire) and Globe (due to a firetrucks responding to a huge fire in our area).
The PLDT experience of getting the line fixed was a nightmare to say the least. Repeated calls to tech support did nothing even if you use your most irate and frustrated tone. Kahinanglan pa mo adto sa PLDT Jones na branch ug mag wild sa CS rep sa counter aron naa na gyud mo lihok sa ako putol na linya. It was fixed TWO weeks after my first call to them. Condescending pa kaayo ila phone representative na ma rebate ra daw ako two weeks na way Internet.....lol....I tried to do the rebate process and perting hasola sa process and in the end 100 petot ra na discount sa ako bill for those two weeks of unending nightmares.
The Globe experience though was a little better after I called their tech support number from a Globe land line, their people were there the next day and reconnected my line. Yes hasse sila kay naa monthly cappng ila service pero when it comes to responding to technical support calls promptly daog ang Globe.
