It's hilarious that people here are posting illogical assumptions. Shouldn't it be a good thing to legalize prostitution so that this industry will finally be regulated? These people in the industry will finally be paying taxes too. If you're worried about HIV/AIDS then don't have s3x at all - people can get any STDs from a prostitute or not. Same goes for worrying that these prostitutes that they may be "di tinuod nga baye". Looooool...
hinoon kay modaghan na so dunay possibility nga mo barato pero depende gihapon, anyway im sure the govt will regulate their rates sab sigoro but again ato pod hunahunaon nga since ma legal na sila so daghan ni lukaton, license of some sort, nya healthcare, SSS, PAG IBIG hahaha, and other fees. so mo mahal jud ni bai. wa na kay budget ani unya haha.
what's so hilarious about being concern sa health aning mga workers? wa kaaayo ko mag worry sa mga mogamit altho gamay duna ta kabalaka but ang akong primary concern jud is ang mga *** workers , di ka malooy ani nila?
ako bai im worried about this kay like I said daghan na unyang mosulod ani nga industry, now if daghan na, ang percentage sa HIV/AIDS and other sexual diseases mosaka pod, remember di lang babaye ang puede ani puede pod ang mga lalaki and other genders mag prostitute.
I'll just post an excerpt from an article...

By practicing their trade legally, female *** workers were likelier to get advice about safe ***, use condoms and gain access to drugs that suppress the AIDS virus.
They also became less exposed to sexual violence from police and more able to refuse demands for unprotected *** from customers -- both of which are risks for spreading the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
"Decriminalization of *** work would have the greatest effect on the course of HIV epidemics across all settings, averting 33-46 percent of HIV infections in the next decade," according to the study, which also appeared in an online issue published by The Lancet.
