I wonder too about Camotes. I have not heard any significant updates about the situation there. I hope they are faring well and that help is on the way for them.

i saw a huge plane this morning flying near Mactan Airport...it was the Russian Aeroflot, the biggest airplane in the world..WOW what a sight..to bad i forgot my camare ... ..anyway,,,Thanks to our friends in Russia..

anyway for those donations being held-up in customs ( if any that is) well sad to say we have a law, yup we have an existing law that even donations from other countries must pay taxes. I was a survivor of the 1990's e-quake where most of Luzon was destroyed, i remember a foreign donor who send a portable community water cleaning system,but was held up by customs because we have an existing law ......

i really don't know why congress have not abolish this yet...imagine that was way back 1990's..

One of the reasons why slow daw kuno ang pagrelease sa mga relief goods kay moagi pa man gud tanan sa gobyerno particularly kang Mar Roxas and DSWD.

I've seen a video myself on facebook with a foreigner saying that all the relief goods that they want to give have to go through the government.

This looks very similar to the situation of that certain mayor from Bohol who stopped Red Cross from distributing the relief goods.

China has also donated USD 100,000 (or was it 200,000). Naa pay mga netizen ni reklamo kay gamay kuno kaayo and that the country should decline the donation as it is seen as an insult. Insult or not, it will go a long way.
