the two-hour upgrade.

8AM - went to PLDT business center, signed the 3yr lock in period agreement for 1899 @ 20mbps
10AM - PLDT called to confirm and inform me that upgrade has been made

previous plan - fibr 999 @ 10mbps
current plan - fibr 1899 @ 20mbps

boss wala ra ni data cap? bago lagi ni sa hehe

Kinsa naka upgrade na sa 1899 20mbps unlimited. I'm planning to upgrade from 999 @ 10mbps. I hope wala hidden fees. If maka post mo sa inyo 1st monthly bill gikan sa upgrade, then ayha ko mo decide. I'm paying P1,607 for my current 999 @ 10mbps karun. I hope exact 1899.00 tana after the upgrade. What else gi ingon sa contract that anyone you guys signed. ok rako sa 3 year lock in.

it's not really 999 all in. you still have to pay 600 for the phone for that. since fibr its now 10mbps. average monthly nako is 1607.

sa new 1899 fibr it comes with a phone na. tapus 20mbps unlimited fiber.

PLDT should drop prices on DSL plans. Fiber is fast and cheap while on the other hand DSL has slower speeds (upload is less than 1 Mbps only) and that 600 fee for the telephone (who's using PSTN nowadays? not even my grandma). Price to speed ratio of DSL and Fiber is really unfair to subscribers na walay Fiber line sa area.

mao gihapon boss, kay ang regular 999+600 sa dsl 5mbps raman gani. unfair kaayo sa old users na d available ang fiber sa area kay mas mahal ang mabayran.. ang 15mbps tag 3k+600 sa regular line lang. pero sa fiber 2899 kay 50mbps na. asang hustisya? ila nalang unta pabaratohon ang dsl lines nila.. pareha ra nis globe pod. ang fiber barato hinuon kaysa dsl. ngano diay na oi? wa jd ko kasabot.

i was planning to upgrade too but i'm having 2nd thoughts.

hahays 3 days nang hinay keu ang internet pag access nako sa modem 80 kbps na lang ang downstream speed mau d i pwerteng hinaya. tabok mandaue area diay amoa kinsay naka experience ani dri?

Ingon sa tech 80% daw sa subscribers affected. 2.3Mbps rako run. Normally 4.9-5+ Mbps ko.

Wala nako nag paabot sa mga taga PLDT nga mo ayo sakong internet kay subra 3months nako ga cgeg update nila wala ghapon silay gpadala maski anino man lang sa ilang technician. Ming switch nalang ko sa globe arang2x pa ang responce time, applied friday afternoon installed pagka ugma dayon saturday udto.
