by the looks of this series with Boston even if Bynum is added next year, the Lakers won't be much different defensively.

yes, they can score 110 easy on any given regular game but what if they encounter yet another younger team which is defense oriented? would they really be an improvement compared to this team? once again, the regular season is very different compared to the playoffs... it gets much harder in the finals..

the machine, Radmanovic, Gasol, Odom fro example can't really play hard-nosed defense based on this series. adding Bynum wouldn't be much of an upgrade in that category I think.

expect the lakers to do a little tweaking... hehehe! ang pinakakusog nga kontra sa lakers next season sa west, is ang portland...

but if L.A. would have 3 of the guys I mentioned as starters next season then any tweaking won't be of much impact.

anyway, maybe another superstar "gift" will be left on the Laker's doorstep ala Gasol trade then maybe that would be the key...
