mga brad, ngano usahay ang h.i.d sa fog-lamps ug sa headlight dili same ang ila pagka white nya both are 8k in output?? a little help here.. thnx

Btw, this is how an HID beam SHOULD look like. I'm using only one 25w 3000 kelvin bulb here. Notice that the light never reaches the driver's windows and more light is concentrated on the ground.




Mao na ning gawas na mga fine2x ug ban2x on HIDs kay usually mga HIDs dire sa ato kay bungkag kaau ang suga. So lets all be responsible HID users and "try" to minimize glare as much as possible. Maybe then, the governing bodies would allow back HIDs on our streets.

sakto ka nors! ang problema man gud diri sa ato.... taud man mga HID sa mga clear headlights (im also guilty ani)...ok bya ang hid on projector type of headlamps (kanang lense type) kay katag na ang siga ug dili suwaw.

Advisable gyud mag projectors pero kung walay projectors make sure lang to diffuse light coming from the lower portion of the reflector kay dinha mana gikan ang glare nga makita sa sugat, and eyelids on the headlights will help a bit. Dili gyud ma totally wala ang glare if reflector gamit nga housing pero at least ma minimize lang kay purpose unta ani is to help us see the road better, not to blind oncoming drivers.

HIDs in reflector housings should be modified to something like:







with the open part facing up as to reduce the reflection of glare up to oncoming drivers.

beside automotive technology is trying to kill halogen man..

HIDs & LEDs are now the way to go.... for the greener earth... hehehe
