Why is wolverine always on centerstage? Hate that guy! Melee attacks+ experience. MUrag si captain america with claws! Maypa cyclops! They should've been more familiar with the Summers bloodline and the omega potential that it has.

I think I can answer that: Wolverine is always on centerstage because he is arguably the most popular mutant in the Marvel Universe among Western readers. When Logan, along with other members of the second X-Men team Xavier formed, was introduced, sales of "Uncanny X-Men" increased impressively.

If not for Logan, the comic-book would have been shelved by Marvel Comics a long time ago. You can't argue with the numbers. Conflicted characters sell more.
