LeBron is the face of the Cavaliers so it's expected that the team will be in limbo once James will be out. Now, imagine the Lakers without Kobe Bryant in the last two seasons.

And speaking about the Lakers not making it past the first round, look at the quality of the opponent they faced, the Phoenix Suns and Kobe barely had somebody to back him up. Even the Suns didn't have Amare Stoudemire once, they're still one hell of a team to deal with yet the Lakers managed to extend it to 7 games. Lamar Odom is too inconsistent and Kwame Brown is eating too much playing time, that's how bad the Lakers roster during that time. And the Cavs leading 5-0 against the Lakers? Again, look at the quality of players of both teams discounting both James and Bryant. That alone will tell.
