dili lage nah prisohan guys, that's a detention cell, which is understandable because this is a high-profile case. May nalang na kysa under house arrest ra--where they can enjoy the comforts of home during detention period. Huwata usa if they are convicted, if tagaan ni sila ug VIP treatment, then hala, get angry. But as of now they are the accused, not the convicted.

    Let's dissect the issue here.

Accused senators were detained in detention cells in Camp Crame. Why Camp Crame? Because as senators, they need not to be in regular cells since their case is a high profile and their security and safety are at stake. Clearly, these are lawmakers' privileges and this is understandable. However, special persons may have limitations especially when they are accused for criminal offences. Visiting supporters? I don't believe they can go inside the facility so I'm lol to that.

Being detained in a newly-built bungalow is a special treatment. The government can't deny that. Even if its only a temporary detention cell, still the same. What this administration had said was that they were treated as they were today because critics might say that oppositions were not being treated well. What a pathetic excuse.

If conviction is the key to fair treatment, how come this was not applied to all detainees (accused) prior their sentence time where some of them were already in health risks?

Im not sure kinsa imo gipa.igo ana but if you were referring to my previous post. Let me clarify...

I said "storm inside" not visit and I specifically mention Erap. Cause we all know the violent protests happened long ago. Thats why they placed Erap to a military camp rather than police camp cause the possibilities these supporter might "storm inside" and try to free him. Surely law enforcers cant just shoot that many supporters unless they want to record the biggest massacre in history

In this case, its also a possibility. You do not want these 3 to be placed in a minimum security police station nor irritate their supporters on the inhuman treatment of these 3.
