dli ko ka answer sa imo mga pangutana bro kay ala man ko kahibaw sa ila mga speed.

pero for sure nag communicate na ang duha ka barko pero ala cguro nag ka sinabot until its too late to avoid each other then comes next is inevitable TRAGEDY...

Naay panultihon sa karaan, pagka dako sa dagat abot bohol... Mag bangga lang gihapon? Kinsay angay basolon ani? Accident ra? Pag sure mo diha oi... Accidente sa inyong mata...

    2) basing on the news, st thomas called sulpicio and requested stbd to stbd pass, no answer from sulpicio

    3) sulpicio is on the path for the inbound vessel(mao nga ni call ug stbd to stbd ang 2go)

    4) yes maka slowdown ka and itll take a couple of miles and minutes before mo take effect imong last command.

    5) , tan awa ang picture ako gi post. maka klaro ka ug suga sa barko or not? that is because of the lights from the city against a vessel's navigational lights.

    6) lastly, dont compare a ship to a car nga mo hunong or mo liko dayon. mao nay gitawag ug headway. from full ahead to stationary. it may take a couple of miles for a ship to stop.
Dko ka answer sa uban nimo nga question sir kay d man ko navigator, pero common sense would tell you,

    6. My ship is not like a car that will not stop immidiately, why go full speed? I already know how fast i am goin, and how far i am. I perhaps could start there if ako ang nag drive.

    5. D man diay nako maklaro ang mga suga, sure ko kadaagi nko aning lugara daghan jud suga, why the speed?

    4. Same as 6. Now if emergency dba pwede man ka hatag reverse thrust?

1-3 im not sure but i think sa dagat walay strict standard just a suggestion nga use rules of the road. Pero ug ang duha ka vessel magkasabot nga moagi silag right right walay manakop nila. Wala may lefthand drive/righthandrive ang barko cguro.

Wat i am stressing here is that dili excuse ng lisud i maniho ng barko.

nga mga interisland as floating coffins.

More than 200 sea mishaps occur annually in the country.

From 1988 to 2009 alone, 13 major sea accidents were recorded, leaving at least 6,100 people dead. The 1987 MV Doña Paz sinking that killed 4,341 people is considered the world’s worst peacetime maritime disaster.

Last year, the holiday season was marred by two sea mishaps that occurred just two days apart.

On December 24, Lubang-bound MV Catalyn B sank after it rammed into steel-hulled fishing vessel F/V Anatalia. Twenty-seven passengers perished in the collision.

According to DYLA Cebu's FB Status:

    ANC reports:
MARINA Administrator Maximo Mejia says all 2GO & PH Span Asia (Sulpicio) vessels have been suspended, on top of order on immediate inspection. All MARINA regional offices ordered to conduct immediate inspection of all 2GO, Phil. Span Asia vessels. Passenger vessel that sank after collision was inspected last month
