i don't know why people make a big deal about this. if you really love each other then you just have to learn to work it out and compromise.

I depends on: (1) how resilient you both are, and (2) how widely different your religions are. The main key is respect. This will enable you to be accepting and open to the differences. Both of you have to be ready and open to adapt to each other's religions. I mean BOTH, not just one to the other's. But, sometimes, even the most open and accepting person will fail in his attempts if the two religions are way too different. Evaluate your religions' practices and find out how different they are. For example: how conservative is her religion compared to yours? I, for one, will not survive a religion where I am not allowed to wear mini-skirts or plunging necklines even outside of church. This means you also have to know yourself. What do you really deem important? What things can you not compromise? The issue of religion, not properly dealt with, is one of the most popular relationship-wreckers. At the risk of being called a cynic, let me tell you that where religion is the issue, love is not the answer.
