I would like to point out that you are working in a call center. I'm not saying that it is a low level job, no certainly not. What I'm trying to say is that you can work in a call center without graduating, you just have to have good English communication and/or wirtten skills. This does not always work for all companies.

I would like to quote you sir...

I will totally agree with this. Our children will never be like us and that also goes with what they want in life. You may be lucky in your profession because you love your job and you have a high position but what if your son/daughter wants to be a surgeon, or a lawyer, or a programmer, or even a teacher these professions require a diploma and dili ra jud na madala ug skills. Also, what if nakahuman jud diay ka sir? Nag-master or nilahos jud ug PhD? Imagine the possibilities.

I say a degree is not a necessity but it goes a long way to have one.

Peace sir and may you be more successful in life

(that was a hard bisaya! Haha)

Grad pro pila ka tuig wala japun work.
Grad nya succesful jud bcoz naningkamot.

Naa rana sa diskarte sa taw. Labi na ang pagbudget sa kwarta.

Yes. Dili dyud kinahanglan na you graduated in college to be financially stable but you need to have a good Plan, Goals, Determination, Skills, and etc. to Succeed. TIMING IS ALSO IMPORTANT.

that depends on what you want to become in life...of course a number of professions demands a college degree...

One of my greatest regrets in life is that I didn't take my education seriously. It led me to a very hard life and it was very difficult trying to land a job (there were no call-centers or BPO's back then). While it's true that nothing is impossible even without a degree, I would say that having one will give you an easier start. Nowadays, when I talk to my kids, I always tell them not to follow in my footsteps. I cite my past as one of the many examples why they should study hard and earn their degree as they might not be as lucky as I am.

It is not the sole determining factor of what you will become, but it will be a huge advantage to have one. If you have the chance to finish your degree, go for it. Your skills can lead you to success, but having a degree will give you a big boost at the start.

Maybe dili always a necessity ang college degree, but ang question dinha, makakita pud ka og job that will make you financially stable? Most people in the workforce who earn more will have college degrees and sometimes advanced professional degrees pa. a HS diploma can only bring you so far. And just because you can land a job now, how about 10-20 years from now? Will your HS diploma be good enough?

    ^thoughts to ponder on..

I would always advise getting college educated at the LEAST.

Depende siguro TS.
