i dont know where to start this thread.
its not that im not a football fan or im not being patriotic in fact im am.
i love footboll its my sport when i was in highschool even got a slot in the school varsity team
everytime i see my fellow Filipino carrying the Philippine flag in every sports i cheer for them, i get excited when they are up and i got disappointed in time even shed tears during they're defeat..
and then here comes the AZKALS
the thing i've noticed ever since the team was formed is the lack FOCUS.
FOCUS... they did nothing but travel here travel there. they are saying that they are practicing during those travels due to weather conditions. sure they can do that but you should practice in a different place where in the weather is the same as the weather of the host city.
azkals have been traveling the country ever since, another thing is they're saying that they are promoting and gathering support.
yeah right, they need not do that the juan dela cruz will forever be supportive of his beloved Filipino team.
too much exposure resulted in lack of focus
is they are not traveling they are on tv making showbiz news

they did they're best i agree with it but if they have focused they could have done better.

if really they want to win
they should have isolated themselves during trainings and practice
they should have done it where there is no distractions
no media, no fans but themselves

i will not compare them to any Philippine sports icon
but look at them they reach the top because they are focused

team azkals has to prove themselves first before before they do those vices and unwanted distractions

and i will not say that they are just new and its not yet they're time to be in the world cup
even a rookie team can do it

If you have discipline and time management that is equivalent to focus!

Nothing in this world can be done instantly, it is not an overnight process, to build a strong team and formidable team takes time. I don't think Azkal losses its focus, if you've seen them in commercial or guesting that is normal, they got the attention of the media.

I respect your opinion but what you are saying is just based on what saw on TV.

i dont know about you but how can you say they lack focus? they practice twice a day, they go to other countries to acclimitize and to hold friendlies with other teams and clubs

dont you read the news? the german football federation offered the friendlies with the german teams during that period because there is a lul in the league calendars during those days. leagues are not run for the whole year. let me remind you that it is the german football federation who also pays for our coach. thats how much they are willing to assist our team.

also, the bahrain football federation has already expressed its willingness to offer training assistance to the team many months ago which probably explains why they chose bahrain.

forever be supportive? if you are truly a football player and follower, you should have at least heard of what theyve been through before there was any semblance of support. also, when they visit the other regions in the country, they hold football camps for kids or show their support for local leagues by attending. ikaw football player ug tagacebu. you should know that. they went here during the CAFC Finals and taught kids in the aboitiz fields.

during some of their practices, the coach is strict and does not allow interviews or fans. not any different with freddie roach i suppose.

what vices? and sorry but they are new and are a very very young team compared to others but we really should be reminded that the world cup is far fetched as of now.
