The man operating in the capacity of sheriff was victimized. He was not a criminal, he was a man doing his job. So it's not merely criminals who are at risk... it's anybody who crosses the mayor in Davao. Now that is a scary prospect!

The best way to deal with criminals is to let the authorities do their jobs. Dili lang kay magsalig kinsa ug unsa ang style sa mayor. Criminals should learn to fear the law and the authorities implementing it. Authorities/Gov't officials are not bound to promote extra-judicial killing. Also, it should not be generalized that all criminals are target of assassination, though the only exception of this is when they pose national security risk. Most criminals are not forever criminals likewise snatchers are not forever snatchers. Still they have rights for due process. Ma naa o mawala ang duterte-like-style-of-killing kung ang balaod sakto kaayo pagpatuman nga walay gikahadlokan mapobre o madato, naay peace and order ang usa ka lugar.

yes he did hes job so as the mayor of davao...she was asking for time para maka adto siya sa lugar ug maka supervise para walay samok? if wala pato ni adto ang mayor mas daghan ang ma injured or posible naa ma disgrasya.na mga civilian.pag abot sa mayor ni kalma ang situation..ng pasabot lang na unsa ka dako ila respetar sa mayor...

What if the mayor is not a duterte? Do you think people should live by who is the mayor? Duterte is not the law. Putting the law on his hand undermines the established law of the land. The problem here is the implementation of it. It is not a matter of place whether you live in Davao or Cebu. Authorities are mostly sitting ducks and likewise protectors of crime. Though we can't deny that Duterte brings peace and order in Davao through extra-judicial killing (using DDS) but still it should not be that way. I don't think he could assassinate his own son/daughter if one breaks the law. Will he?

stop repeating what everyone is saying. of course he is not the law. but he implements it in a way that it benefits everyone in his city. and so far, he has been successful. look at davao. im not in the right person to answer your question about him assasinating his daughter/son for their faults. lol thats silly. also, id like to see you preach some more of your ethical moral and religious crap after your wife daughter or mother gets robbed and raped while walking home, your brothers getting shot for 200 pesos and the list goes on.
