Just sharing my WvW experience during the previous Beta Weekend.



We are currently in Sea of Sorrows but we are planning to transfer in the Fort Aspenwood due to WvW status of SoS. Still nothing is final until we have the Launch Date.

I heard gear or levels won't affect PvP is this true? So a level 1 character with lousy gear will be as powerful as a top level character in the best gear?

I like the scale and the game looks like a proper 2012 MMO..

gears will still affect pd tngali oi, ang murag purpose lng ani kay para balance stat-wise inig WvW. pero IMO lng na ha.

Well, the reason why I liked GW2 is because I want to enjoy the game. Most of the games will make you wait and work hard to reach the end-game before you actually enjoy while others say "the real game starts at the end game". In Guild Wars 2 everything is end game just like one of the developers have said. You can PvP as early as Level 1 wherein you will be scaled to 80, you have default PvP gears, unlocked all the skills and traits. This goes for WvW as well, scaled to 80 and you have preset stats but you don't have unlocked skills but you can work on it as you level in WvW.

Murag nagka contra ato servers pag last BWE, divinity coast man ko, daghan taga australia sa ako server so mao2x ra ang timezone. In the end gi dominate ang WvW sa Fort Aspenwood, hibong ko hilom man ang SOS na server last BWE. Nindot dyud tingali kung kuyog ta mga servers para inig raid nato during BWE natulog pa mga US og EU ana so we could dominate the WvW easy.
Dli na tinood about sa gear, imo ra level mo saka so meaning imo ra health bar mo saka everything else stays as is, so maka bantay dyud ko going against higher levels with better armors mas lisod dyud patyon.

Any idea if may Aussies din sa Aspenwood coz we're actually thinking to have Fort Aspenwood as our main server at launch. Basically, the reason why we entered SoS coz it was said that it is the unofficial Oceania server but something went wrong in the recent BWE

Yup, pag first BWE SoS man daw mga taga oceanic pro karon murag spread out cla. Wouldn't be surprised if daghan taga Aspenwood ang oceanic kay maklaro sa ilang tags, ubay2x mga small guilds nila did2, mao nang lisod kaayo cla e raid kay organized kaayo cla. Will have to wait hantod du.ol launch dyud tingali kung asa dyud ang majority sa oceanic manuwa.ay. Nindot man mag raid kung parihas og timezones kay daghan mo.
