ot: last time i check the salary of a programmer is unlimited hahahaha!!!

ont: mga 70k -100k if multinational nga company, pero sa cebu last time i check mga 35k ang senior then mga junior kay 12k -15k

akong na baw-an 18k-20k+ ang mga juniors nya mga 40k+above ang mga seniors sa mga big companies, mga small companies mo hatag og dako nga rate pro dako dako pud ang risk in terms sa stability.

hmmm from what i know daghan na nangita ug ruby on rails diha sa pinas. Cebu alone has Exist, and Care sharing.
Manila has source pad as well. Friendster i think might be also using Rails since I saw them last time during the Ruby Conference.

fresh grad: maybe around 10k - 25k
after 1-2 years: mga around 25k - 30k
then after that kay depende na on how you grew up on your career.

When i started even though I applied as a full time employee while still studying.. G kuha ko nila as OJT lang then daghan keu work load bai. I only receive 2k per month and when I graduate. G minimum ra ko 8k. then after 4months from 10k... But I wasn't really thinking about the salary on that time.

if you are 2-3years experience na... pwede naka mo demand og salary. depends on the work load. 20k++ gyud kasagaran if 2yrs - 3yrs experience naka.

pre wala manay tax ang 8k kay minimum mana.. noon minus mandatory deduction sss - phic -hdmf. sakit ghapon :P .. pero mostly pud karon kanang 8k ang sweldo. naa na silay commission if they finish their projects before deadline.

Try applying on craigslist or email places in the US directly. You can get better rates that way, and there are some places out there that will really help you improve your skillset.
