Ge:1:2: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

let me share my views--
The message of the bible is the salvation of Humanity. Kung atong apilon tanang butang sa universe, i mean tanang creation sa Ginoo ug mention, then dili sufficient ang kaba-on sa bible. BUT ang purpose why the bible was designed that way is not for us to know science at its depths but for us to know THE LOVE of GOD towards His creation. Earth was only mentioned tungod kay mao ni ang focal point sa iyang plano!

i'm not so familiar with the bible and its verses. all i know is that the old testament came after the new testament.
