    bai anton, ang formula sa pagkuha sa octane rating ba standard ba na for all countries? naa man gud nag ingon nga lahi daw atong formula diri mao taas ang octane rating... basta i read it before in some honda forums...

    as far as i know, theyre are a different measurements like, Reasearch Octance Number (RON), antoher is Motor Octane Number (MON) , Pump Octane Num(PON) .. an Road Octane Num.... US i think is 6-10 points lower than the phil's, and we have relativiley thesame ratings as EU, im not really sure of this if anyone knows better pls do feel free to correct me

    But really octane ratings is only a measure of the fuels capacity to resist self-ignition. It is in no way measure of how much power a certain brand of fuel can deliever... Although other additives in the fuel may enchance performance.

    so basically a higher octane rating fuel is for cars that have high comp right? (as you said in your previous post) so it's really a misconception when people say that these higher octane rating fuels run hotter than those with lower rating? how bout the gas consumption? please enlighten me boss, hehehe

    Its not higher octane fuels run hotter, rather higher octane fuels can run on higher internal temps...
    tuwad not necessarily, if your car knocks, or auto-ignites at lower octane (like older cars), you can use fuel with a higher octane to eliminate this.

    For the gas consumption part, I havent seen test.. or have not yet come across information on this. But if your drag racing, I don't think you'd be thinking about your gas expenses in the first place

    regarding i turbo ang stock engine pwede man....but you cant set the boost to a higher PSi...i think pwede ra na sa 4 - 6 PSi to be on the safe side...kng nka B16 ka pwede raman cguro imo gamiton na piston sa 4agze nga engine (but not sure ko ha)ky forged piston man na...at list pwede ka sa 10PSi
