i am an ECE but my work is computer related.. the question is which field your most comfortable with.

kun ECE dako imu job market kay u can work in manufacturing company as process engineers and you can work also in IT company basta naa lng gamay background. this is based on my personal experience not to generalize.

yes i agree. i once worked with a structural design company.... then with an electronic manufacturing company.... then with an IT company.... and currently planning to resign....

if you are to ask me.... i am more comfortable working in the electronics industry where i lasted longer....

the good thing with being an ECE is that we could easily handle and adapt with any given task.....

ang compE sa usc kay gi breakdown man ug 3 ka majors. . . software, networking and digital systems. .. pero naa gyud ka basic to moderate experience sa 3 ig graduate nmu. . ang imu gi chose na major mao na imu expertise. . .

i thinks mas grabeh ang demand sa compE karon. . dali ra kaayo ka land ug job. . pwede ka hardware, programming or network. . .

ang ece sad pwede sad ka trabaho ug computer related job. . naa ko amigo na ece graduate pero nakauban nako sa work. . .

I am a Comp. Eng'r and i can easily adapt to stuffs related to Software designs. Software developer is a pretty cool and high paying job, ECE and CompE grads can apply to this line of work. Just focus more on your programming skills, and IT companies will surely look for you guys...

I strongly suggest that you take ECE instead.. because its more flexible than the other...

Im an ECE here.

Lets just say that an ECE can always catch up with Comp E in terms of both hardware and software.

Comp E can never catch up with out knowhows in communication and power electronics.

But never underestimate Comp E coz they are always ahead in terms of DIGITAL ELECTRONICS

Depende ra gyud ni asa ka dad-on sa imo destiny. Wahehehe.
CompE bitaw ko, but ma-deploy ra man gihapon ko sa TelCo nga projects.
Then naa pud ko daghan ECE nga friends, they are doing software programming works.

mas prefer ko sa E.C.E. kay naay licensure exam but ad2 ko nikuha sa computer engg kay mas sayon then nahan ko sa mga computer related subjects
