I feel you. I could have taken computer related courses kay mao jud ako ganahan unta. And with all this waiting na ma improve ang status sa nursing diri sa pinas murag dugay pa siguro na mahitabo. Sige lang ta hulat ug maayo sa nursing or a decent job na related sa nursing pero murag na puno na jud maskin unsaon pa nimo ug hangyo diha sa HR.

Im thinking of studying ComSci or IT or ComEng maybe next year kung dili pa jud makatrabaho as nurse. At least double major na ko.

Sa ulahi ra jud ko naka realize. Maayo lang sa pag studyante paka kay no question lingaw jud kaayo ang nursing pero when the time comes na graduate naka, iyahay na and paunhanay na ug pangita trabaho.

The schools and the review centers are centered in money making not in making quality nurses, this is the reality of the so called "puppy mills".

i think, bisan unsa pa ang course na mo-graduate ang tao ky kanya-2x naman gyud ta ug pangita sa ato life ahead. basta estudyante pa gani ta ky ang lingaw man gyud ang naa sa mind permi labi na kuyog sa barkada. but after all ur pencil-pushing years we need to move on and grow up na...so weder asa ka, mag-inusara gyud ka pangita sa imo kaayuhan!

ei, its getting kinda off topic.. as to the 'abundant' nurses, the schools are also to blame. right now, they prefer quantity over quality (awa lang ang passing rate karn) , as colleges see the nursing department as a hell of a payload. if you get my drift..

also.. anyone notice that the nursing workforce is reasonably oppressed? i mean, the job demands a lot, and hospitals are paying almost minimum wage and tying you down with a 2 year contract (for the coveted work/experience certificate). with that kind of attitude, AWOLs have almost become synonymous to nurses..

True.. a lot of nurses kay mag AWOL because they can't cope up with the oppression (overworked but paid only P2,500 every 15 days)

can anyone do something about this humongous nos. of nurses these days? wa man siguro no? puppy mills here and there, pero business man ni sa mga schools. unsay mabuhat nato na ordinaryo na mga tao?i seemed to get the idea that people are probably annoyed by the heightend growth rate...wat now? r we just gonna go on and say daghan na kaau ta nlang? til when? shouldnt we make the most of our lives as nurses na lang unta, instead na sige ta complain?

see that's the problem. their dreams are starting to get cloudy. if they're still willing to hold on for their dreams, then it's up to them. they gotta work hard to reach their "dreams".
